You may have seen some of my recent social media showing my little home filming set up. Well that was part of a set of interviews I recorded for Gin Live, a virtual event that is now available. I’ve been very lucky to interview some amazing people about their gins and hold a masterclass with Mr David T Smith covering several great tipples. And, when you buy a ticket you get the gins sent to you at home, so not only is there a whole host of viewing material, but you get to join in with the tastings too! It’s a great project and I’m really pleased to have been a part of it. There are a limited number of tickets left, and great news, if you want in, then I can get you a discount! Read on for some more details on the event and how to nab yourself some money off.
Gin Live At Home delivers all the delights of a gin festival to living rooms across the UK
Hold on to your gin glasses: a new tasting experience from the team behind Gin Live and Gin Magazine is delivering the full gin festival experience directly to gin-lovers’ homes in time for Christmas. Only a very limited number of tickets remain available.
Called Gin Live At Home, this all-new experience will deliver a tasting pack of 11 x 30ml gin samples from famous brands including Edinburgh Gin, The Lakes, Mermaid Gin and Metropolitan, alongside 4 x 30ml whisky samples from Miyagikyo in Japan, Stauning in Denmark, Bowmore in Scotland, and Uncle Nearest in Tennessee, USA — the latter courtesy of partner event Whisky Live At Home.
But that’s not all. Every ticket holder will also receive a hamper of extra gifts including a Glencairn Crystal Studio copita glass, a Glencairn gin goblet, a bottle of Artisan Drinks Co’s Classic London Tonic, and a copy of Gin Magazine— enough to keep any gin fan entertained and well-watered this Christmas!
Gin Live At Home Experience ticket holders will receive all this, delivered with UK postage included in the price, for just £59. Surely, there’s no better gift for gin lovers this holiday season.
What’s more, for those in need of even more gins or an extra-special gift, there is a very limited Masterclass (5 x 30ml extra gins) add-on available that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning gin connoisseur.
Not content simply to supply delicious gin and great gifts, the Gin Live At Home team will also launch season one of a new web series, Gin Live TV, with the first episodes going live on November 30th. The series includes an episode (each around 30 minutes in length) focussing on every included gin and distillery featured in the Gin Live At Home tasting packs. Access to stream the series on demand will be exclusive to ticketholders until 2021. Hosted by Gin Magazine editor Bethany Whymark, contributing editor David T Smith and regular contributor Bernadette Pamplin, guests sitting in the ‘gin hot seat’ include distillers and brand ambassadors from across the global gin scene.
There are still a very limited number of tickets available to purchase for Gin Live At Home, which will be on sale via Eventbrite until Monday, 14 December – with guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Tickets start at £59 inc UK P&P for the Gin Live At Home Experience and go up to £74 for the Gin Live At Home + Masterclass Experience.
Doesn’t that sound fabulous?
